How to Properly Assemble a Skateboard

Becoming a skateboarder takes you to a new world. Finally, slang terms and trick names will become second nature to you. But before you start, you have to crawl, and skateboarding, that means learning how to properly assemble a skateboard.

Tools together to:
• Phillips screwdriver
• Drill (optional for mounting truck)
• 3 / 8 "combination wrench or socket wrench
• 9 / 16 "combination wrench or socket wrench
• razor blade

Parts: Collect
• Skateboard deck
• Grip Tape
• Pair of trucks
• Hardware (Nuts & Bolts Set of 8)
• 4 wheels
• 8 camps

1. The first thing we do is for the grip tape on the deck itself. Place the deck on a flat surface. Pull the back of the grip tape and the application of the adhesive side to the top of the board. Now, flatten with your hand so that it sticks flat to the board. Be sure to order any air bubbles with a razor blade and bagFlatten it with your hand.

2. Take your screwdriver with the shaft directly above the handle, scrape the edge of the platform to complete. You now have the edge beautifully shaped around the deck. Take your razor blade and carefully cut the excess grip tape around the board. Take over grip tape and sand the edges to make the left to make it smooth and clean.

3. We are now the assembly of trucks on our deck. Take a screwdriver and put it through the handleVolume in all 8 holes on the deck. Insert the screws from the grip tape side. On the bottom line of the holes in the truck with the screws. Once you stop the truck, the nuts are mounted on the bolts and secure with the hand. Now that both cars are loose you need to tighten them. Use your 9 / 16 "wrench to hold the nut still and tighten the screws with your screwdriver. (A rig is much faster to work for this process but be careful not) strip your screws

4. The wheels are notmuch to do, no stock, so here is how you insert in your stock wheels. There is a special tool for this you also see at your local skate shop, but there is a little trick that may work better. Remove the nuts on each truck and flip your board on its side. Take a stance and put it onto a truck. Now put the wheel on the truck and press hard against them. The camp appears to the right into place. Remove the wheel to make it different influence on the truck, the wheels turnaround and repeat the process. Presto! A wheel is complete, just repeat this for all 4 wheels.

5. For the next step will be to mount the wheels. Just slip 2 wheels on each truck, and using your 3 / 8 "wrench on the nut. Be careful not to pull too hard, you want it loose enough so that the wheel can rotate freely.
